Zicklin School of Business at The Baruch College of New York

The Baruch College of the City University of New York hosts the largest accredited collegiate school of business in the United States: the Zicklin School of Business. Ranked among regional and national top college lists by Forbes, Princeton Review, and U.S. News and World Report, Baruch provides an ideal setting for budding business protégés to learn about the world of commerce: the unofficial but clear business capital of the United States.

Within easy commutes of Wall Street and a plethora of premier companies’ and organizations’ global headquarters, Baruch is poised to give students a breadth of internship and networking potentials unmatched by any other location, worldwide. The campus architecture exudes the same kind of innovative approach students are taught in its cutting-edge classrooms. Based on the philosophy that “intelligent design creates new learning,” the William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus has been painstakingly designed in order to promote both intellectual growth and social interaction.

Acclaimed for its highly diverse student body, Baruch’s student population approaches 17,000 students, of which approximately 12,000 are undergraduates. The student body includes students with backgrounds in over 160 separate nations who collectively speak more than 100 languages. Admission is fairly competitive: Of the nearly 20,000 applicants for the 2010-2011 academic year, fewer than 4,500 were accepted. For students interested in particularly rigorous and challenging academic programs, Baruch College has tailor-made programs available through its distinctive College Honors Program.

Eighty percent of those who enroll at Baruch do so with the intention of entering the Zicklin School of Business. The School of Business encompasses both undergraduate and graduate programs of study. Tuition for those pursuing undergraduate degrees is $4,600 for New York residents and $12,450 for out-of-state students; MBA tuition is $10,810 or $22,050.

Zicklin’s undergraduate division boasts an impressive array of 17 distinct majors:

Sinai Health Care MBA.
